As an independent, family-run business, we offer a personal service backed by decades of combined experience in York’s property market. We’ve handled sales from £200,000 to £6 million, including some of York’s most iconic buildings and distinctive homes.
We deliberately keep a select portfolio so we can be proactive and thorough: giving every home proper attention and responding effectively to every enquiry. You’ll have director-level care throughout, with no handover to junior staff. We personally conduct viewings, so your home is presented by someone who knows it inside out and understands what makes it special.

Having in excess of 17 years Agency experience with Carter Jonas,York, Louise has worked at Partner level on some of York’s most high-profile sales. She combines a wealth of knowledge of the local market from York city centre and surrounding villages to the North Yorkshire countryside and beautiful East Yorkshire coastline. Passionate about property and providing exceptional service, Louise is always on hand to provide clear and honest advice and can be relied upon to get the best possible outcome in negotiations. Louise enjoys art galleries, playing tennis, good food and wine, travel, walks along the north east coast.
Will Hirst
Marketing Director
With a keen eye for trends and a passion for showcasing properties in their best light, Will brings a unique blend of marketing expertise and a superb grasp of analytics to every listing. A marketing
graduate, Will initially started his career with Hunters, and has since worked within a diverse range of industries developing his skills. Deeply analytical with a real sense of pride towards excellent customer service, Will values developing relationships and trust in order to get the best out of each transaction. Will has a love for film and travel and thrives on challenge.
Mike Evans
Office Manager
Mike has been part of Prime Residential from the beginning. With a career spanning education, property and professional inspection, he brings a combination of leadership, experience and an exceptional eye for detail. Before joining Prime Residential, Mike was Senior Master at Pocklington School, an Independent Schools Inspector and a Viewing Agent with Carter Jonas—experience that gave him an excellent understanding of people, property and the importance of getting every detail right. As Head of Office, Mike helps maintain high standards throughout the sales process. Not one to stay behind a desk, he also enjoys accompanying viewings, sharing his interest in houses and architecture and helping buyers discover what makes each property special. Away from work, Mike enjoys long walks, good real ale, art, theatre and the occasional puzzle.
